The survey also found Clinton and Trump statistically tied in two other major swing states, OH and Pennsylvania, just days before the Republican National Convention is set to begin in Cleveland.

According to the Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll released Wednesday, Clinton has lost ground on nearly every measure from the June 21 survey.

"While there is no definite link between Clinton's drop in Florida and the U.S. Justice Department decision not to prosecute her for her handling of e-mails, she has lost ground to Trump on questions which measure moral standards and honesty", Brown said in comments accompanying the poll results. Overall, the Journal reports that the two candidates are tied in OH with 39 percent of the vote each, while Clinton has a 3-point lead in Iowa and a 9-point lead in Pennsylvania.
