Britney Spears releases 'Make Me' featuring G-Eazy

Her last single, "Pretty Girls", was fun and catchy enough to fit in her canon of sugary pop gems, but the song was mostly seen as an unnecessary redux of Iggy Azalea's massive hit "Fancy", and the single flopped under the scrutiny of Azalea's celebrity and Spears' robotic speak-sung vocals.

Spears is still yet to reveal the release date for her new album.

Britney Spears has dropped her highly anticipated new single, Make Me, featuring emerging rapper G-Eazy.

In Make Me, which includes the rap stylings of G-Eazy, Brit-Brit wants the object of her affection to make her move. "She really put her all into this new album and took her time choosing the songs", our insider continues.

"Make Me" is definitely a new sound for the artist, that she described as "a little melodic, a little more not so poppy". "Born in MS and raised in Louisiana, Spears became a household name as a teenager when she released her first single "...Baby One More Time", a Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 smash and global hit that broke sales records with more than 27 million copies sold worldwide and is now 14x Platinum in the U.S.

Britney Spears teased another new track named Private Show, in a commercial for her new fragrance of the same name. "Britney would be the first to tell you she is a perfectionist".

Her cutting-edge pop concert Las Vegas residency, "Britney: Piece of Me", at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino has been voted "Best Show in Las Vegas" and "Best Bachelorette Show in Las Vegas".
