The first episode of Batman: The Telltale Series, "Realm of Shadows" will arrive digitally on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS and Android on August 2. They also added that the game will be available in physical form as well but the physical version will only be released on the 13th of September. A pricing has not been announced yet, but Telltale should reveal this detail soon. Gamers can try "Batman: A Telltale Game Series" at a special crowd play event during the convention on July 23.
Telltale released the first trailer for the game, which gives players an idea of what its story will involve and what familiar Batman characters will turn up.
With their legacy of story driven adventure titles this was always going to be a different kind of Batman game, and the focus will be on your time as both Bruce Wayne and the Dark Knight while you tussle with hard choices with major ramifications. Also, giveaways may be given, since the crowed will be asked to participate on-screen.
"Batman: A Telltale Game Series" will implement the same decision-based gameplay that other Telltale titles are known for such as "The Walking Dead" and "Game of Thrones". In total there will be five episodes in this series, so it will be the standard size from Telltale Games.
