New England Patriots tight end Rob "Gronk" Gronkowski also joined the band onstage. On Sunday, he got to live out every rock and roll fan's dream when he joined former Beatles front man Paul McCartney to rock out on stage.

Decked out in a loose white polo, white sneakers, and blue shorts, Gronk did what can be best described as sort of air guitar strut as McCartney belted out the Beatles' 1968 hit, "Helter Skelter".

Sir Paul posted a brief high-def video clip of the "Helter Skelter" performance on his official YouTube channel.

No performer worth their salt would see that Gronk was at their show and not bring the big lug on stage, so it's to McCartney's credit that he took advantage of the opportunity.

The sports star didn't reference his appearance directly, but wrote on Twitter on Sunday night, "Adrenaline rush is off the charts right now!"

The next stop on McCartney's One On One tour is Tuesday night (July 19) at Hersheypark Stadium, Hershey.
