Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has arrived in England to conclude the transfer of the Frenchman from Juventus to Manchester United, the Daily Star has reported.
United are expected to make an opening bid of £100 million (S$177 million) with £13 million of that performance-related add-ons.
Pogba was allowed to leave United to join Juventus back in the summer of 2012 and has since developed into one of Europe's top midfielder.
Although United's 25-man squad for the trip includes Wayne Rooney, Marcus Rashford, Chris Smalling, David De Gea and Paddy McNair, who all exited Euro 2016 later than Ibrahimovic, the former Barcelona and Inter Milan forward was granted extra time off by Mourinho and is now sunning himself in Los Angeles.
Mourinho demands strong fitness levels at his clubs, and wants only the fittest of players.
Ever since it started, he's been linked with a return to Manchester United, where Alex Ferguson let him go on a free transfer because he "showed no respect" to the club. Do I like Pogba?
The 20-year-old striker was left out of United's pre-season tour squad that jetted out to China and has been pushed further down the pecking order following the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
However, new signings Eric Bailly and Henrik Mkhitaryan will be a part of the trip, and no doubt be some of the major highlights to watch.
