'Sultan' grosses over Rs 70 cr worldwide on its opening day

Mumbai: Superstar Aamir Khan has praised Salman Khan for his latest film Sultan, saying that the Eid gift has everything that one can expect from a mainstream movie.

Interestingly, if "Sultan" continued its pace at the box office, it is expected to enter the Rs 100 crore club by end of today ie. We are expecting Sultan to have 165+ crores opening weekend.

If we compare two days' collection of Sultan and PK then even we think the Salman and Anushka starrer will easily sail through the mark.

Bollywood Movie in theatres is rocking the theatres at present with its collections. Like on its first day the action drama performed well on its second day also.

Sultan has released in nearly 4350 screens in India and 1100 screens in overseas. Wednesday 36.54 cr, Thursday 37.20 cr.

When Salman Khan movies release on the occasion of Eid, the festive celebrations are high voltage, be it in India or overseas.
