ZTE today introduced its newest Android phone, and if you're a fan of affordable phablets, you're going to want to check it out.

If MetroPCS is your carrier of choice, the answer could be the ZTE Zmax Pro, a 6-inch phablet that pairs its big display with a surprisingly small price. If you pre-register for the ZMAX Pro before July 31, you'll get a free leather case when you purchase the device. A microSD slot can be used to augment the latter with up to 128GB cards, or alternatively to house a second SIM card for juggling two networks.

"ZTE drives innovation that impacts the daily lives of US consumers by delivering innovation to the mid-tier segment, as seen in the affordable ZMAX PRO that features the latest technology for less than $100", said Lixin Cheng, chairman and CEO of ZTE USA. Its 3,400 mAh battery is rated for all day usage with up to 25 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby, and its 13MP rear camera can record HD video and there is a 5MP front-facing camera. There's a fingerprint reader below that 13-megapixel camera and a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging up the 3400mAh non-removable battery.

The ZTE ZMAX Pro will launch at MetroPCS on August 1 for $99 after instant rebate. Get the premium experience you deserve at a fraction of the price.

ZTE Z Max Pro goes on sale in August and is now exclusive to MetroPCS in the US. The phone will be coming exclusively to MetroPCS, T-Mobile's low-priced prepaid service.
