WWE Rumors Paige never returning after suspension? WWE demands wrestler to break up with Alberto Del Rio

Albert Del Rio leaves WWE; Paige reportedly quits

WWE announced on Friday that it has released Alberto Del Rio.

Del Rio and his girlfriend Paige are now facing a 30-day ban since August 18, for allegedly violating the World Wrestling Entertainment's stringent wellness policy. Get all of the details right here.

This closes Del Rio's second stint in WWE, which began at the Hell in a Cell 2015 pay-per-view.

Eventually, Del Rio parted ways with WWE, making the announcement official in a tweet earlier today (tellingly, WWE's official statement on Del Rio's release does not wish him well in his future endeavors, which is a break from the standard M.O. of WWE releases). That's code for "see ya"!

It all went downhill from there, unfortunately followed by a whole lot of nothing, as Del Rio entered into a disappointing feud with Kalisto before moping around with the rest of The League of Nations. He noted that his "business relationship" closed with WWE on "good terms". "Termine mi relación con WWE".

Del Rio took to Twitter to address the news and insist that there is no bitterness between him and the company, whether the fans will believe that or not.

Last time, Alberto Del Rio went to AAA under the ring name El Patron Alberto and quickly won their AAA Mega Championship.

"If she is done with the company, well, I mean, that's gonna be tough", Meltzer said of Paige, who debuted in WWE two years ago, winning the Diva's Championship.

This is not too shocking, considering that there have been rumors that Del Rio is dissatisfied with the organization. Hell, the reason he exhausted of the Lucha Underground organization was because of broken promises of main event matches.

Del Rio's real-life partner, Paige, is also serving a 30-day suspension and is reportedly considering her future with the company as well.

Del Rio, who originally signed with WWE in 2010, was sacked in August 2014 following a physical confrontation backstage after a WWE employee reportedly used racially charged language. Tell us if you're upset that he's leaving!
