Sprint is First Pokemon Go Partner in United States

Pokémon GO is available for Android and Apple iOS devices.

Oh, what's that? Where are those new Pokemon that have been rumored for the last few weeks?

However, after all, the commotion and reports, Niantic promised that they're going to do something about it.

In a statement, Niantic said details of a massive new update will be released on Monday, including details of new creatures to find and capture in the game. Speculations say that this update may take a whole lot of space in the player's device, so better to free up some space in there!

With all that, though, Pokemon Go die-hards will, perhaps, most appreciate the introduction of 100 new Pokemon, which will start rolling out this week as well. There will be a new drink in Starbucks to be named as "Pokemon Go" Frappuccino. New Pokemon Go-themed menu items-like a vanilla bean frap with raspberry and blackberry syrup-will also likely entice players and non-players alike. As if that somehow weren't enough, Pokemon GO is getting a second update today, and it's adding some quality of life improvements players have been requesting for quite some time. The upcoming event will allegedly be the beginning of the major changes that Niantic will apply in their existing features, including a new generation of Pokemon and Shiny Pokemon as well.

Pokémon type icons have been added to the Gym battle approach and Gym battle screen.

Pokemon Go continues to engage millions of trainers around the world.

A tweet posted by the official Pokemon Twitter account earlier this morning states that more Pokemon are coming to Pokemon Go. Currently, references to Pokemon "Holiday" costumes are present in the game, which might be a reference to the speculated upcoming Pokemon GO Christmas event.
