Mariah Carey: 'My new break-up anthem isn't just about James Packer'

So it's official now - Mariah Carey confirmed in a recent interview that Bryan Tanaka is her boyfriend. Carey posted a sudsy Valentine's Day photo on Instagram of the two sharing a hot tub and some champagne that had fans all abuzz earlier this week, but she played coy during her interview with the AP.

While discussing how little she enjoys talking about her personal life, the "I Don't" singer inadvertently talked about her personal life. According to The Sun, the backup dancer has been promoted as the creative director of Mariah Carey.

The couple's romance started back in 2016 soon after she and James Packer made a decision to end their engagement in October. "I would say he's my boyfriend", Carey confirmed, jokingly adding, "but now you're going to make a whole dramatic thing".

Meanwhile, Mariah recently performed a redemption show live on Jimmy Kimmel, where she sang her 1990 hit Vision of Love and I Don't, a new collaboration with YG.

Recently, Cannon appeared on Howard Stern's radio show and was sure to communicate that he is not buying it. NY Daily News relayed Cannon's candid words to Stern on the subject. 'Because that's what I used to do and it really worked for a minute, back, a while ago. "You shouldn't be wasteful, so I'm going to do something with charity and wedding dresses, I think". Like, that s-t doesn't happen.

Though the pop diva, who has been linked to Tanaka since breaking up with her billionaire fiancé, James Packer, in October, wasn't interested in talking romance, she was happy to gush about bringing her kids, 5-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, along on her upcoming tour with Lionel Richie. I don't buy none of that s-. "That s-t is like a soap opera".

In December 2016, the eight-part event series was aired, and it followed the R&B singer as she kicked off her concert in Europe, Africa, and the United Kingdom. The singer has wrapped up the reality show only last month and is planning a tour soon in March.
