Easter weekend to be overcast, chance of rain

TUESDAY: A few additional showers or storms are possible but rain chance is just 30%.

Monday will be slightly warmer temperatures than Sunday, with highs of up to 12C. Expect cloudy conditions to dominate the forecast Thursday evening into the daytime on Friday and Saturday.

Wed: High: 82 Low: 64 Mostly sunny, breezy. This one will keep the showers and storms around throughout our Friday into Friday night with the possibility of a couple of stronger storms developing.

Temperatures cool down next week back into the 60s through Tuesday, but under sunny skies.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 59. A spotty shower or two is possible during the morning rush. Even though the overall severe threat is on the low end, you will need to stay weather aware during the afternoon and evening, especially if you have any sporting events or outdoor activities. A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 a.m.

Temperatures are set to drop as low as 2 degrees overnight with grass frost expected in some rural areas.

By Wednesday, the cycle will break and we will see partly cloudy skies through Thursday.

Sunday - Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly between noon and 4 p.m. Lows will be around 42 degrees, with south-southeast winds around 10-20mph, gusting up to 30mph at times. Chance of precip 60%. Chance for showers. Isolated thunderstorms. Winds gusting up to 25 miles per hour.

We wrap up the week with some unseasonably warm temperatures in the Mid-South, but we're looking ahead to our next chance for rain. Winds: SSE 10-20 miles per hour. A cold front will bring a line of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 63. Showers are likely on Monday.
