This test run on the said number of prototypes will determine whether the technology would work and then only Samsung will proceed further to mass produce the device. Such capabilities will be coming to the S8 later this spring, while the digital helper's other features will be available when the phone launches on April 21.

"Samsung is now seeing an extremely positive market response for the S8 and S8 Plus with the number of their preorders having surpassed 700,000 in the Korean market".

Samsung has taken to Twitter to announce that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones will be released in India on April 19.

On the brand damage following the Galaxy Note 7 a year ago, the mobile boss said its full disclosure of what the company has done since then has seemingly helped it earn consumer faith again. Another eagerly-awaited Samsung device, the Galaxy Note 8, will be unveiled in Q4 also of this year. The all new Samsung Galaxy S8 is all set to go for glory as it is believed to possibly beat the LG G6.

The Samsung S8 comes will be available with either a 5.8-inch screen (the S8) or a larger 6.2-inch screen (the S8 Plus). In total, around 728,000 units of S8 has been pre-ordered as of Wednesday, and this has broken the records of the previous pre-orders.

Thus, like every year, Samsung now plans to solve this problem with the release of a rugged iteration of the device - most likely called the Galaxy S8 Active. But the Infinity display of the real Galaxy S8 is simply incredible. Citing industry sources, the publications said the prototype could be "a preliminary version of its upcoming foldable smartphone, dubbed Galaxy X". It will also feature an OLED screen allowing pixels to emit their own light.

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are scheduled to hit shelves in the USA and some other markets from April 21.

The Galaxy S8 is also equipped with fingerprint, iris and facial recognition sensors that will be connected to Samsung Pass, a biometric authentication service.
