After tips poured in from other law enforcement agencies, Tighe's name emerged hours after investigators released terrifying surveillance video of the female victim trying to overtake the carjacker identified as Tighe at a fuel pump as gasoline from the nozzle she uses to strike him rained down on them both.

Officials say the man was walking around the woman while she was pumping gas.

Officers were called to the Circle K gas station at 1785 Andover St. Saturday at 7:24 p.m., for a report that a woman was dragged by a vehicle, and arrived to discover that the woman was carjacked as she was pumping gas, according to police.

The woman sprayed him and the vehicle with gasoline and continued to fight back.
