Starbucks calls shifting-color drink a "Unicorn Frappuccino"

It's the new Unicorn Frappuccino blended beverage from Starbucks. It's topped with whipped cream, which is sprinkled with pink and blue powder. "Once only found in enchanted forests, unicorns have been popping up in social media with shimmering unicorn-themed food and drinks".

Starbucks fans are already obsessed with the chain's latest - and perhaps strangest - creation: the Unicorn Frappuccino. The drink is a blended creme with mango syrup and finished with vanilla whipped cream.

But there's more than just the colorful combination to make the drink magical.

The drink changes color and flavors as it's swirled, according to Starbucks. If you're into Sour Patch Kids and take your coffee with five sugars, the Unicorn Frappuccino might be the best thing you've ever tasted. First it will be "sweet and fruity", but stirring the drink will change the flavor to "tangy and tart".

Prepare for your Instagram feeds to be bombarded with colourful photos because the coffee giant confirmed the mystical frap will be offered in participating stores across Canada starting April 19 for a limited time.

'Omg, THE UNICORN FRAPPUCCINO from Starbucks, ' added one more.

Before Starbucks officially announced the drink, there was speculation on the internet that it was coming.

The blend of passion fruit, coconut milk, and strawberries was a hugely popular item last summer, thanks in large part to its picture-perfect appearance, which made it a hit with social media lovers the world over.
