As you surely know, Monday evening kicked off Harry Styles' week-long residency on James Corden's The Late Late Show.
While settling in for his weeklong residency on the USA late night talk show on May 15, things got a little awkward after the comedian joked about Jenner - who Harry dated on and off between 2013 and 2016.
One reason, he says, is obviously Corden himself, a host who already came with an enviable skill set as singer, dancer, actor and one who quickly learned how to do a monologue and interview guests. And I'm Katy Perry. As well as performing some of Harry's new solo material, the pair are also expected to sing some One Direction tunes. But things took a cringe-worthy turn when Aaron made a decision to list every single chicken, ominously stating Kendall's name.
Coincidentally, Harry had a cup of tea in front of him when Aaron began listing off the names of the chickens.
At the mention of his famous ex, Harry reached for his mug and kept his head down.
And of course, Styles performed his poignant, Bowie-esque hit "Sign of the Times". And if it couldn't get even more uncomfortable, he then added: "They lay every day!"
With his debut solo album Harry set for a No. 1 bow atop the USA and United Kingdom charts, Styles naturally performed a song from it, "Carolina".
When asked if he would consider stage diving again, the One Direction singer said probably not but "maybe the mood will strike another time" and teased the audience by getting up and pretending to consider doing it to them.
