Church Bulletin: Vacation Bible schools continue

Waynesfield Baptist Church is hosting Vacation Bible School, "It's All About Jesus", from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 10 through July 14, at the church, 512 N. Westminster St., Waynesfield. Dinner will be served from 6 to 7:15 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30.

Karen Akin will lead a Bible study at 9 a.m.

Bangor Community Church: 7419 Oro-Bangor Hwy.: 10 a.m. Pastor Bruce Chikalla, Theologically conservative, Bible-believing church affiliated with pastoral leadership from Village Missions.

Holy Temple Church of God in Christ will have a plate sale noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10.

First Baptist Church: 2661 Yard St.: Worship, 11 a.m. Bible based, Christ centered and life related church.

Abdeel Temple's UFCC Center, 609 Keen St., will hold a children's summer food service program for dinner and snack at 6 p.m. Monday-Friday until August 4. Pastor Cedric Frisby and St. John's Free Will Baptist Church will be guests. Vacation Bible School, "Galactic Starveyors: Discovering the God of the Universe", 6-8 p.m. July 17-24, with a family cookout on the last night.

Ward Chapel African Methodist Church, 1301 Hanger St., will host its annual Women's Day service at 3 p.m. Sunday with speaker Carissa Rodgers. A free hot dog lunch and outdoor activities will follow the June 24 morning service weather permitting.

- New Emmanual Missionary Baptist Church, 139 E. 25th St. Vacation Bible School, 6-8 p.m. June 19-23. newemmanuel@epbfi.com. The theme for both services will be "Freedom in Christ".

Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church, 1321 S. Van Buren St., will host the 30th annual Jubilus Musical Dinner Theater today in the church gym, presenting It Happened at the Nunastery. The Tuesday evening service will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be a shortened, casual version of the previous Sunday's sermon.

Trinity United Methodist Church: 285 E. Fifth St.: "All, All, Everything, Always", from the Rev. David S. Vallelunga, 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Scripture: Matthew 28:16-20. Pastor Stanley Swinson and Taylor Chapel Church Family of La Grange will be guests at 4 p.m. June 26.

The church is looking for sponsorship for this summer program. Worship services, 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Pastor Allan Dikes.

The Bible school is free and open to children ages 5 years old to preteen.

During the Pastor's Appreciation Hour at 3 p.m., the word of God will be proclaimed by the Rev. J.A. Moland, pastor of Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church in Killeen. The event is open to the public.

New Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2833 Alex Harvin Highway in Manning, will hold "Victory!"
