Amal's mother, Baria, was spotted shopping for the twins in England. "The little boy looked like he had [George's] nose, his little profile".

In an interview with FOX19 NOW's Tricia Macke, the 83-year-old former anchorman shared: "George, well, his eyes were glazed so I'm not sure that he was sober".

A happiness that comes added the birth of Ella Alexander, the highly anticipated twins the couple in London, not far from the vast family estate.

The proud grandfather says he "certainly" loves the names.

It's not unusual for celebrities to have a stable of homes, but it seems the Clooneys are serious about their new Sonning address.

He went on describe Amal as "superwoman" for making the video call happen while recovering in hospital, revealing she is doing "terrifically well".

Jackie Hopkins, with the Augusta Pub, said the idea for the name of the event comes from George Clooney's signature drink, Casamigos.

At least that's what granddad Nick Clooney said.

Never known to do things by halves, George and Amal Clooney, one of the most glamorous power couples in the world, on Tuesday announced they had become parents at last, to twins.

The babies' births occurred days after the actor made a decision to skip a peace prize ceremony in Yerevan, Armenia on 28 May, amid fears Amal would go into labour while he was away. "I am very happy for them", he said, predicting the couple "will be great parents".

Bara Alamuddin, who was with human rights lawyer Amal in London as she gave birth, told French publication AFP (via ET): "We are over the moon". The babies are handsome, of course. "They will be great parents".

"Just as I did, George married up".

"I didn't know that we'd have kids". A number of A-listers took to Twitter to congratulate Amal and her hubby on the birth of their first children.
