Pokken Tournamnet DX will also feature 5 new Pokemon on top of the 16 already available. You can check out the reveal trailer for the titles below.
Finally, Nintendo announced plans to re-release Pokemon Sun and Moon on the 3DS as Pokemon UltraSun and UltraMoon. We'll find out, one way or another, when "Pokken Tournament DX" releases September 22, and both "Ultra Sun" and "Ultra Moon" drop on November 17.
For weeks, rumours have spread about a substantially upgraded version of Sun and Moon, purportedly called Pokemon Stars, being in development for the Switch. It will launch worldwide on September 22. It will feature an extended cast of Pokemon to fight with, including Decidueye, Croagunk and more. A playable demo will be at E3, and have a full-fledged Invitational, previously un-announced.
Pokemon's appearance on the Switch will take the form of Pokkén Tournament, which will allow users to engage in local, tabletop and team battles and online play. Pokken Tournament DX follows in the footsteps of another remake of a popular Wii U title, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, released on April 28.
Pokemon is making its way to Nintendo Switch later this year with Pokken Tournament DX.
