Microsoft's Xbox Design Lab lets customers design their own custom Xbox Wireless Controller.

We are yet to see a price or release date for the oversized controllers, but Hyperkin has said they will be 'limited edition, ' so if you're after the trip down memory lane you'll want to keep your eyes peeled.

It was big, misshapen, and so bad that Microsoft ended up redesigning it into something called the Xbox Controller S- a wonderful controller that set the standard for all Xbox controllers going forward.

You can access the newly-launched Xbox Design Lab UK page here. The expansion means Xbox One owners in the UK, France, and Germany can now order custom controllers from the Xbox Design Lab. The experiment has been a success for the company, with Xbox Global Marketing Manager Bree White sharing today on Xbox Wire that fans have already created "hundreds of thousands of unique designs that express their creativity and style". Along with this, Microsoft is also adding four new base colors to choose from in making the controller of your dreams. Between now and June 19th, you can add free engravings to your controller. 11 new thumbstick colors are also included, as well as Premium Metallic finishes for the D-pad and triggers, along with the choice of adding rubberized grips.
