Clif Bar Issues Voluntary Recall After Allergic Reactions to Nuts

The company behind the popular Clif protein bars is voluntarily recalling three products over nut allergy concerns.

Clif Bar & Company has recalled several flavors of its protein bars due to possible peanut contamination. Clif Bar & Company is taking this precautionary safety step for people who are allergic to peanuts and these listed tree nuts.

The company said it discovered the problem after receiving a small number of consumer complaints of peanut or tree nut allergic reactions.

The bars were sold in retail stores throughout the US and online.

The products are safe to consume for those who do not suffer from a nut allergy.
