The new flight will operate Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, departing Cleveland at 9:45 a.m., arriving in Miami at 12:46 p.m.
Frontier said the Grand Rapids flights are among 85 new routes nationwide that it is adding.
With the expansion, Frontier can make its low fares available for 90 percent of the USA population, expecting to bring more than $1 billion dollars in savings to consumers through the lower airfares.
The nine new routes will increase Frontier's total MIA operations to 15 destinations by year-end.
The airline's arrival to the Tulsa International Airport will include nonstop flights to Denver, Orlando and San Diego starting in the Spring of 2018.
"In addition to 300 non-stop routes and 1,500 connecting opportunities, we also have a significant number of one-stops", Fisher, who also stated this is Frontier's largest expansion in recent memory, explained.
Frontier is focused on more than low fares.
United Airlines now offers nonstop service from Little Rock to Denver. Those flights will begin in October, said Tyri Sqyres, Frontier's vice president of marketing.
Frontier will fly to Orlando beginning August 16.
"With today's announcement, Frontier now offers our Low Fares Done Right product for the first time to upstate New York", Robert Westgate, Frontier's senior director of schedule planning, said during a news conference Tuesday at Buffalo Niagara International Airport. It launched operations at MIA in December 2014.
