Hosted by Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and producer-director Karan Johar, the ceremony, which celebrates the achievements of Bollywood in different cities across the world, is a three-day extravaganza that started from July 13 and is being held at the iconic MetLife Stadium in NY. In which "Neerja" named the best picture and received the award of the 2017 International Indian Film Academy (IIFA).

The gorgeous diva garbed in an embellished grey gown was called on-stage to present the Best Actor Award to Shahid Kapoor for his spectacular performance in 'Udta Punjab'. In a special category, Taapsee Pannu won the Woman of the Year award for Pink.
The best story award went to Ayesha Devitre Dhillon and Shakun Batra for Kapoor & Sons.
Alia's co-star from Udta Punjab, Shahid Kapoor too won big in IIFA 2017. Alia, who also won the Myntra Style Icon Award, began the proceedings of the night with her performance on "Tamma tamma", "Ladki beautiful" and "Badri ki dulhaniya".
Apart from them, another Udta Punjab actor Diljit Dosanjh won the Best Debutant (male) award.
Katrina Kaif not only was a part of this goof up, but also conquered the stage with her dance performance. Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon wooed the audience with their crackling chemistry as they jived to retro tracks.
