Coolpad's newest flagship phone "Cool Play 6" is scheduled for India launch today, 20 August, as per the recent press invite that reads: "Live to Play". It will go on sale in the country from 4th September via Amazon.
Speaking at the launch here, James Du, Global CEO, Coolpad Group, said, "India and the USA has now become two of the largest markets for Coolpad overseas".
Cool Play 6 has 13-megapixel dual rear cameras which come with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), dual tone LED flash on the back, while in its front lies an 8-megapixel snapper with a f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. With the new Coolpad Cool M7, the gadget portfolio of the group will encompass all sections, including budget smartphones and premium devices. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor (Quad 1.95GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.44GHz A53), which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU.
Display The Coolpad Cool Play 6 comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution and 403 ppi. The Coolpad Cool Play 6 is a dual SIM smartphone with connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM and 4G.
Coolpad Cool Play 6 appears to be an interesting smartphone, at least, on the basis of the specifications. It includes whopping 6GB of RAM which should be good enough for playing graphic intensive games and lag-free multitasking.
RAM and Storage of Coolpad Cool M7 - Talking about the RAM and Storage of the Coolpad Cool M7, the phone comes with 4GB of RAM and with 64GB internal storage. The phone runs on latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The phone also features a fingerprint scanner on the back. It is of 152.00 x 75.20 x 8.45 dimensions and weighs 170 grams.
The right edge comes with the power button and the volume rocker keys.
It has 4000 mAh, non-removable Li-Po battery with a standby time up to 300 hours, with support for USB Type-C reversible connector and Dual Nano SIM. Some of the camera modes included in the Cool Play 6 are Panorama, long exposure and Professional mode.
