Flair has been receiving medical treatment for about a week now since Zanoni originally tweeted that her client had surgery.
The 68-year-old wrestling legend was admitted to an Atlanta-area hospital on Friday (11.08.17) and has since gone under the surgeon's knife, with his fiancee Wendy Barlow revealing Ric is still in a critical condition. Instead, Flair had an intestinal blockage and needed to have part of his bowel removed.
There have been few details about the nature of what exactly ails Ric "Nature Boy" Flair, but his manager tweeted Saturday that the former pro wrestler is "awake, communicating and progressing".
According to #sports illustrated, Ric Flair did not have a heart attack and did not need heart surgery.
However, on Sunday, she wrote on Facebook that "there has not been an official Ric Flair update, but that has led to a lot of false information".
Legacy Talent CEO Melinda Morris Zanoni, Flair's representative, has said that there are still "complications" following the surgery and that the 16-time world heavyweight champion requires some rest. In a recent article, Complex.com called Flair "Hip-Hop's Favorite Wrestler".
And it's no wonder his body made a decision to get better with a promo like this one, the nurse must of had a great time if it's this good.
In what's a very good sign, it's clear that The Nature Boy hasn't lost any of his beloved sense of humour and his nurse can testify to that.
She added: "The man outlived a plane crash & being struck by lightening, he is a survivor.Grateful 4 all the love & respect sent @RicFlairNatrBoy way".
