For those who came to see their hometown hero in action, their last glimpse would have been of him sat on the Dolphins' bench as they finished without a point to their name. One thing that has been missing for New Orleans is a running attack. The Dolphins hold a 6-5 edge in the all time series.

The Dolphins' head coach Gase withdrew Ajayi for the final throes of the game, and although he will take away memories of catching up with friends and family - in the region of 40 were in the crowd - they had failed in their over-arching mission to put right the wrongs from last weekend.

It appears Brees wants to get back to that.

Are the Dolphins exhausted of travel?

Hurricane Irma had devastating effects on the state of Florida, the ramifications of which are still being felt.

Saints quarterback Drew Brees said Friday that the team has agreed to kneel in solidarity before the national anthem and then stand together during the anthem. They must create more turnovers this week against the Dolphins.

They're back on the road this Sunday, this time without a trans-Atlantic flight, but trying to maintain the momentum they set with a 44-7 rout of the Baltimore Ravens at Wembley Stadium.

After a first half littered with penalties, only a Wil Lutz field goal separated the teams. The linebacker is needed as Miami's defense has been decimated by injuries.

The real concern was the inability to shore up protection for Drew Brees on the interior of the offensive line. They have losses to the Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots, and have a tough upcoming schedule against three of the four NFC North teams.

While the Dolphins flew to London on Thursday, Saints coach Sean Payton chose to spend an entire week there in preparation. Londoners are hoping to see their hometown National Football League runner showcase his talent in front of their own eyes but for Ajayi to do so he needs the front line to block better and his play calling head coach to do a better job of calling plays.

The Saints followed a similar schedule the previous time they played in London, when they beat the San Diego Chargers 37-32 in 2008.

Will the Dolphins feature Jay Ajayi heavily? Patrons? Hooligans? Whatever, you get the point - Ajayi should be motivated. He finished the last game and I know it wasn't easy for him. Only rushing for 30 yards, the entire gem of the game was perhaps QB Jay Cutler. New Orleans had a strong pass rush against Carolina, which contributed to three interceptions. Then the Panthers chose to, for whatever reason, feature a ton of Cam Newton utilizing his surgically repaired right arm. The Dolphins would be wise to hammer the ball over and over and let Ajayi be a wrecking ball in front of his home crowd.

Sunday's loss marks the first time since December 22, 2013 the Dolphins have been held scoreless for an entire contest. "And then we bounced back and were able to get back on track Week 3 and we have to be able to show we can continue that and make it consistent and do it week in and week out".
