A Panthers fan standing in the nosebleed section during Thursday night's game against the Eagles in Charlotte drew blood after he sucker punched another man in the face during a heated argument.

The video shows the Panthers fan punching the man, who starts bleeding. The two men exchanged more words and then the punches followed. Prior to 2016, he had been named first-team All-Pro three consecutive seasons, and he's also made four consecutive Pro Bowls even while only playing in 10 games last season. And Kuechly is no stranger to dealing with injuries, more specifically concussions.

CMPD's police report identified the victim in the video. We are working with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department to pursue charges to the fullest extent of the law.

The victim was treated by a medic at the scene.

Emory says the Panthers "are committed to a fan-friendly and family-friendly stadium experience" and said the behavior is "unacceptable and will not be condoned".

"The Instagram user says the man and woman, wearing Panthers gear" were standing for the entire game and the situation escalated through the game.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
