Unruh previously alleged via Twitter on October 13 that Spacey had "assaulted a loved one", but had not previously identified that person as her son.

A former Boston television news anchor has accused actor Kevin Spacey of groping her then-18-year-old son last year-an accusation that police are reportedly investigating. It has been widely reported by national media that Spacey has checked into the same sexual-addiction clinic in Arizona treating Hollywood mogul and accused rapist Harvey Weinstein. "Kevin Spacey bought him drink after drink after drink, and when my son was drunk, Spacey made his move and sexually assaulted him".

"Shame on you for what you did to my son", Unruh said at Wednesday's news conference.

She said Spacey tried to get her son to go with him to an after-hours party.

"Whether he was over 21 or not, Kevin Spacey had no right to sexually assault him", said Unruh. "There are a lot of people who hide behind keyboards and say really ugly things".

She also said that her son recently filed a police report with Nantucket police, and claimed that a criminal investigation is underway.

Talese took particular issue with actor Anthony Rapp, the first of many to come forward publicly against Spacey. Nantucket Chief of Police William Pittman said he will not comment on or confirm any investigation regarding Spacey or any other possible sexual assault investigation citing MA law regarding victim privacy.

Joining Unruh at the press conference was her son's attorney, Mitchell Garabedian, who represented numerous victims in the Boston clergy sex abuse scandal. Sarah Kate Ellis, president of the LGBTQ group GLAAD said he only revealed he is gay 'to deflect from allegations of sexual assault'.

The writer also compared Spacey to the Dalai Lama, who likely "has done something he's ashamed of".

"The #weinsteinscandal has emboldened me - #truth time". Time the dominoes fell'.

Kevin Spacey attends the Build Series to discuss his new play "Clarence Darrow" on May 24, 2017 in NY. "I don't know how much she saw", the former news anchor said.

Spacey says he is now "taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment" after the latest round of sex assault allegations and DailyMail.com has learned that he has checked into The Meadows facility in Arizona, the same facility where Harvey Weinstein has sought treatment.

Since Rapp made his allegations, Spacey has been hit by at least 10 other claims.

Spacey has now been accused of sexual misconduct by almost a dozen actors, directors and production assistants.

"While we continue the ongoing investigation into the serious allegations concerning Kevin Spacey's behavior on the set of House of Cards, he has been suspended, effective immediately", the statement read.
