The Nintendo Switch has gotten its very first major video streaming service app today in the form of Hulu. It was...until today! We are very proud to announce that Hulu is the first USA streaming entertainment service to debut on Nintendo Switch!

Starting later on Thursday, Hulu subscribers can use the Nintendo Switch to stream both live TV and VOD-only plans.

The free app can now be downloaded from the eShop and will only require a subscription to the service itself.

The on-demand service is available from $7.99 a month, while the live TV option is $40.

The worldwide pioneer in the creation of interactive entertainment, Nintendo Co., Ltd., of Kyoto, Japan, manufactures and markets hardware and software for its Nintendo Switch™ system and the Nintendo 3DS™ family of portable systems.

For all of your upcoming holiday gatherings and long road trips, the Nintendo Switch system and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems are the flawless video game systems to keep you and your family entertained.

We compared the Nintendo Switch version of Doom to the PC version on low and ultra settings. We were curious to see if all the crisp, bloody picture remains with the Switch version, or whether it's a muddled mess.

Only a digital version of the game is being released for Switch owners. The 3DS and Wii U had those apps. Of course, if you have a subscription to the service, all you have to do is log into the app with your credentials and you'll have the same access as you would on other devices.

The Switch has been one of the Nintendo's best selling consoles to date.

"We're talking to a range of companies about other services, companies like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon - things that will come in time", Fils-Aime told the Washington Post shortly after Switch launched. When the Switch console was first released, many seemed confused why it didn't support any video streaming apps.
