While Winslet was accepting her Hollywood Actress Award for her role in Woody Allen's "Wonder Wheel", she made a decision to declare her affection for "Mom" star Janney.

Before audience Kate Winslet appeared in a simple black dress with a plunging neckline, voluminous skirt and a thin belt at the waist.

After being introduced by her Divergent costar Shailene Woodley, Winslet noted the amount of talent in the ballroom, including Janney.

His "Nocturnal Animals" co-star Amy Adams presented him with the award.

After collecting her award, the Titanic actress addressed to actress Allison Janey during her acceptance speech. "Or just stroke you or something", Winslet gushed.

The 57-year-old Mom actress won two awards herself - for supporting actress and ensemble (with the rest of the cast), for I, Tonya. "We could always kiss or something... maybe".

It was yet another star-studded evening in California on Sunday, as the industry's most respected entertainers stepped out for the 21st annual Hollywood Film Awards.

James Corden will host the ceremony at the Beverly Hilton.
