Many have probably heard Jenny McCarthy's sexual harassment claim against Steven Seagal; it's something she divulged in an interview with Movieline in 1998. According to Miz McCarthy, Seagal sexually harassed her during an audition for the film Under Siege 2.
The model explained that she had "purposefully worn a muumuu to the audition so the casting people would actually look at my face and watch my work". However, McCarthy got bad vibes about the tryout as soon as she arrived as she noticed that no one else was in the casting room.
McCarthy shared: "So I stand across from (Seagal) and he plops onto a sofa that's near a fireplace". "And he points at the sofa cushion next to him, saying to me, 'Take a seat". "Steven told me, 'You should come by and listen to some of the tracks. I'm just really excited to read for this part, and I have so much energy I need to stand'".
"Seagal began to recount his experiences on combat missions before telling McCarthy, "'You know, this part has nudity in it. "It always starts with, 'I'm a healer, I want to massage you.' I sort of squirmed my way out".
In a tweet on Wednesday night, the Australian actress said the producer "sat me down and unzipped his leather trousers", while explaining to her "how important it was to have chemistry off-screen" at an audition. My agent says there's no nudity.
The former actress said, "Moments later, a wardrobe assistant led me to Steven's personal trailer, to his bedroom, and asked me to change into a corset".
LaRue claims Seagal told her to sit on a couch in a room that appeared to be an office or a guest room. A distressed McCarthy said she asked, 'Could we please read the scene, ' " but Seagal again made his request "so I can see your breasts".
Going from "shocked to sadness", McCarthy yelled, "Go buy my Playboy video".
The ordeal wasn't over, though.
Actor Eva LaRue, who starred in "All My Children" and "CSI: Miami", accused Steven Seagal of sexual harassing her during an audition.
She said a female casting director told her Seagal wanted to go over a scene with her in his NY hotel room at night. "I was the last girl that day". How many girls had to take off their clothes? "How many girls had to do more?"
United States action movie actor Steven Seagal and U.S. comedian-actor Louis C.K. were the latest stars in the crosshairs of mounting sexual misconduct allegations on Thursday, following the downfall of Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey.
LaRue said Seagal locked her in a room at his home in 1990 and opened his kimono to reveal he was wearing nothing but his underwear, Deadline reported. The meeting was ostensibly for casting purposes.
"He made sure that I saw his gun, which I had never seen in real life", she told SiriusXM radio station.
