More Sunshine, Warmer Monday

Monday and Tuesday look sunny with high pressure in control.

Wednesday: The clouds will return on Wednesday along with a 60 percent chance for rain in the afternoon and evening hours.

But despite the warm temperatures, the record in Denver is 75 degrees - set back in 1999, so we won't come close to that.

The best chance of rain over the next seven days comes early Saturday as a front moves through bringing a quick passing line of showers through the area Saturday morning.

A storm system will move across the Ohio Valley to end the work week, and a trailing cold front will sweep across the state late Friday and into Saturday with some showers and perhaps some storms.

Thursday: The sunshine returns with a high temperature near 51 degrees. Overall a fantastic fall week of weather as days will feature more sunshine than clouds, and nights clear and chilly.

Tomorrow we'll see a little more sun, but with a slightly stronger breeze from the northeast which will help keep our temperatures pretty comfortable in the mid 60s.

Weather staying nice and dry to start the week.
