Trump rips CNN again, but this time, CNN blasted him right back

CNN hit back at Donald Trump after the president of the United States stated that the news network insufficiently represents the United States. "The outside world does not see the truth from them!"

In a lengthy tweet, Mr Trump on Sunday alleged that CNN represents United States to the world very poorly.

Over the weekend, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to claim that he rejected an interview and photo shoot with TIME Magazine because they told him that he'd only "probably" be the publication's Person of the Year. "That's yours. Our job is to report the news", adding "#FactsFirst".

The president on Saturday fired off a tweet that praised Fox News as superior to CNN and accused it of misrepresenting America to the rest of the world. "Continuing to have an adversarial relationship with that network is a mistake".

This job can be risky.

Former presidential candidate Evan McMullin noted that Trump is lending a hand to authoritarian figures by attacking a network like CNN International.

Comey responded, indirectly, on social media.

His latest tweet comes about a week after the Department of Justice sued to block AT&T's proposed $85-billion purchase of Time Warner Inc., which owns CNN.

Later on, media critic David Zurawik said that Avlon was "absolutely right" and that the president would just prefer to go to his "Twitter pals" at Fox News like "Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham".
