In addition to his role as Evazan, Curtis starred in several British TV series namely "Ted" in 1986's television miniseries "Lost Empires", "Larry Grayson", and "Matt Beckett" on the 1980-1981 television series "Cribb".

He accompanied it with a amusing artwork of a sketch showing Fisher, who passed away suddenly past year, in robes and a crown, carrying her famous french bulldog, Gary Fisher, in one hand as she stuck up the middle finger of the other.

Mark Hamill took to Twitter to pay tribute to Alfie Curtis and remembered him as "funny and kind". Evazan is one of two "wanted men" who confront Luke Skywalker in the Mos Eisley Cantina and takes a lightsaber from Obi-Wan Kenobi for his troubles.

Although Evazan was never named in Star Wars, and appeared only briefly, his backstory was developed elsewhere in the Expanded Universe (now referred to as Legends).

"Alfie Curtis made the #Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina scene (one of the most memorable I've ever been a part of) even MORE memorable". Thanks, Alf- you'll be missed.

That was Cornelius Evazan, the intimidating Cantina actor played b Curtis.

"No one's ever really gone..."

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now playing in theaters. The cause of death was not revealed. "I don't like you either" is still the best delivered".
