Caledonia Police are searching for a woman suspected of stealing a Salvation Army Red Kettle Thursday afternoon from the entrance of a Walgreens, 5005 Douglas Ave.
"Our Kettle Campaign for 2017 is going really well", says Braye.
The Caledonia Police Department is seeking a woman who allegedly stole a Salvation Army red kettle from an area pharmacy. "We know that it has been a very hard year for many families in our community, and our prayer is for these families to be blessed this Christmas season and for our resources to be multiplied", said Major Brett Meredith, Area Commander.
Campaign organizers attribute the decline in donations to Hurricane Harvey "fatigue" and the recent dreary weather conditions.
"So it sucks on two levels because the fact that they would take money away from people that truly, truly need it", Hunter Mouton, the Salvation Army volunteer, said. This year's goal was to raise $250,000.
