"PUBG" developers will give players a chance to test the map before the game's official 1.0 release.
The millions upon millions of active players landing, looting and surviving the battle royale action of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds are intimately familiar with Erangel, the game's base map (and now, only map).
It contrasts to the now existing map, Erangel, in that it's not an island.
In contrast to the lush fields and forests offered by the island of Erangel, Miramar will render barren desert terrain and dense urban areas. So what kind of loot can players look forward to on the Microsoft system?
Regions of the new map include; El Pozo with its Luchador Arena, the oceanside Valle de Mar and the very vertical Chumacera. Miramar will be playable during the final test round before PUBG hits version 1.0.
Miramar has other features out in its wilderness to discover, too.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is obviously the most popular choice in the gaming world right now, so it makes sense that it's getting not one, but two mobile games in China.
On top of the new terrain and locales, players will see freshly implemented weapons, vehicles, and other content in PUBG's desert map.
The first title is in development from Tencent Timi Studio, and it's been the most widely-circulated online over the last few days, showing off motorboats, helicopters, and more.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is available now on PC through Steam Early Access, while the upcoming Xbox One version will arrive through the Game Preview program on December 12th, 2017.
