The reality star began dating D'Agostino and quickly headed to the altar.
De Lesseps' friend Olson told Page Six that the man who was in bed with the star was "a guy she had previously dated". She allegedly entered room 407 instead of room 327, for which she'd paid, while a maid finished turn-down service. Their marriage ended after seven months amid several reports of D'Agostino's alleged infidelity, which were the main focus of the TV show last season.
Prior to the arrival of police officers on the scene, it appears (based on additional accounts from eyewitnesses) that Luann's mystery man left the room and returned to the bar to ask a mutual friend, Julie Olson, to help him with Luann because she "wouldn't understand she was in the wrong room".
She told Page Six that she blames her actions on being emotional after her recent divorce. "It should be noted that both smelled of an unknown alcoholic beverage, had slurred speech and appeared to be heavily intoxicated", Officer Mastrangelo writes in the police report.
Later, at the police station, de Lesseps was placed in a holding cell, from where she allegedly repeated the threatening words to the officers multiple times.
"It was so early in the evening. I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018".
"I went home, had a cup of tea and went to bed".
In the room, de Lesseps allegedly locked herself in the bathroom and refused to come out.
A spokesperson for de Lesseps issued an apology to anyone offended by her behavior in a statement Sunday.
The reality star was released on her own recognizance with the judge allowing her to return to her home state of NY.
It is not known at this time if either of the arresting officers were wearing body cameras at the time of Luann's arrest.
In response to the longtime reality star's tweet, her followers had mixed emotions.
