Ubisoft delays Far Cry 5 and the Crew 2

The Crew 2 and Far Cry 5 delayed

The updated launch for Far Cry 5 is March 27, 2018 - a month from the previous date of February 27. The game, originally planned for release in the 2018-19 fiscal year, will now come out in the 2019-2020 fiscal year instead.

"Taking more time with Assassin's Creed Origins enabled our talented development team to fully express their creative vision".

Far Cry 5 will now be available on 27th March for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

"Ambitious" is a pretty good word to describe Far Cry 5. The game world has been taken over by a hyper-religious and violent cult that has seeped its way into every local institution in the game's rural America setting.

The Crew 2 has also been delayed. Players can heavily customize their rides and participate in a variety of races and other activities.

In The Crew 2, players will be able to enjoy the widest range of vehicles. Today, Ubisoft announced that several big name titles would be pushed back in the name of development and not deadlines.

Ubisoft's Worldwide Studios Executive Director Christine Burgess-Quémard issued an official statement regarding the delays, saying the extra time will be used to deliver a more "engaging" gaming experience. The original game sold very well for Ubisoft.

The in-game photo mode in Assassin's Creed Origins is one of the finest we've seen yet, with some of the efforts shared on social media truly magical, and a testament no only to the photographer, but the efforts of Ubisoft Montreal's art team.

"Our back-catalog performance throughout November followed the same excellent trends as in the first half of the year, and sales for Assassin's Creed Origins continued their positive launch trajectory", said Ubisoft's CFO Alain Martinez.
