Tidal launches Android TV app, free 12 day trial coming on Christmas

If you want to try out Tidal's subscription preview, it will begin on December 25 and will run until January 5. Tidal does offer free 30-day subscriptions year-round, but here no credit card is involved and no ads play. In addition, the platform is launching four new original content series, giving away tickets, hosting livestreams, sharing new playlists and more in the upcoming days and weeks.

During this promotion period, users will be able to access Tidal for free on their phones and tablets (via the official mobile app), as well as on their PCs (via the desktop app, or the web player).

"Heading into 2018, we're looking forward to giving TIDAL members more access and a high-quality soundtrack to everyday life", said Tidal VP Tony Gervino.

All you'll need to do is sign up to Tidal with your email address, then you can test out the streaming apps and all the features it supports.

The soulful singer's documentary is exclusively premiering on TIDAL and features behind-the-scenes footage from the Freudian North American tour with Daniel Caesar.

Now, Tidal is coming to the Apple TV with a new tvOS app.

This mini-doc focuses on the making of Rapsody's GRAMMY nominated album, "Laila's Wisdom".

Additionally, Tidal says that it will release exclusive content on its service for every day of the free trial, starting with a new Rap Radar podcast from Nipsey Hussle on Monday.
