A fire broke out at a Sessions Court located at Karamveer Bhaurao Marg in Mumbai's Fort area.

After Mumbai Kamala Mills, Now Cinevista Studio on Fire, 150 people make Narrow Escape: - Reports are coming that after a massive fire which almost killed 14 people in Mumbai's Kamala Mills compound similar news is coming straight from the Cinevista Studio in Mumbai's Kanjurmarg area.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in the incident. According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade, a call was received at 07.14 am this morning.

Although the studio had fire-fighting equipment installed, it was not functional, said fire officials.

Five fire tenders rushed to the spot on Monday and brought the flames under control.

Fire officials said around 100-150 people, said to be crew members of an ongoing shoot in the studio, were successfully evacuated from the spot. On Saturday, around 8pm, the fire broke out when shooting of TV serials was on. Around 180 persons, including TV actors Harshad Chopra and Jennifer Winget were on the premises when the fire broke out but they escaped unhurt.

In a statement with Indian express a guy suggested that "The disaster happened at about 8 pm and fire engines were summoned immediately". On December 28, fire engulfed the top floor of the Kamala Mills Compound and claimed the lives of 14 people including 11 women and left several others injured.

The Cinevista fire followed a January 4 blaze that killed four people, including two children, after an upper floor of a residential building in suburban Marol caught fire.
