Brad Pitt bid $120000 to watch 'GOT' with Emilia Clarke

The 54-year-old actor was among the A-listers who attended Sean Penn's annual "Steadying the Storm" gala for Haiti in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, Jan. 7.

Brad attended the 2018 Sean Penn & Friends Haiti Rising Gala in Hollywood charity event yesterday where he bid a hefty $120K United States dollars (roughly $153K AUD) to watch an episode of the hit HBO series with the gorgeous Emilia Clarke!

Pitt bid $80,000 to watch an episode of the epic fantasy drama with Clarke.

The first bid to watch an episode of the popular series with the "Mother of Dragons and Daenerys of House Targaryen started with $20,000 but escalated quickly". Amazon's Jeff Bezos, Lena Dunham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Segel, Connie Britton, Patricia Arquette, Mark Burnett, Roma Downey and Leonardo DiCaprio, who was honored for his work fighting climate change, were also at the event. At one point, the auctioneer yelled out "Is the King of the North here?!"

Brad had initially bid $80,000 before upping his offer to $90,000. When he returned, he offered to join in on the viewing with Clarke and the victor, prompting Pitt to raise his own bid, once again, to $120,000.

Brad Pitt must really like Game of Thrones. And that's when Pitt raised his own bid to $120,000.

However, the exciting lot was won by another attendee at the gala, who paid $160,000 for the screening.

Clarke also picked up a prize at the auction after engaging in a little bidding war with DiCaprio over the same Josh Smith painting.
