The life support of Home and Away actor Jessica Falkholt has been switched off at a hospital in Australia following a Boxing Day crash that killed three members of her close family.
News of her life support being switched off came after her family were laid to rest in Sydney - including sister Annabelle and parents Lars and Vivian.
Mr Whitall, who according to Newscorp had been previously jailed four times for unsafe driving prior to the crash, also died at the scene.
Whitall was reportedly driving home from a methadone clinic in the New South Wales town of Nowra when the crash took place.
Jessica's parents, Lars, 69, and Vivian, 60, were killed instantly in the crash.
Falkholt has been in a coma since the accident, and had her life support pulled on January 11, just one day after her mother and father were laid to rest. While she has undergone several surgeries, she remains in a coma. The family has asked for privacy during this very hard time'.
Following reports her life support had been turned off, Home and Away tweeted: "Rest in peace, lovely Jessica Falkholt". Annabelle, 21, passed away three days after the accident.
It comes just one day after hundreds of people turned out to farewell Lars, Vivian and Annabelle in an emotional funeral in Sydney's west.
Mr Ponticello also spoke about the love between Swedish-born Lars and Italian-born Vivian, saying they were inseparable and the tragic end "makes absolutely no sense".
It has been revealed Craig - who also died in the fiery collision - had served four jail sentences for traffic offences, was banned for driving for nine years and had at least 10 convictions for driving while disqualified, The Daily Telegraph reported.
'They are together and always will be...
The family was returning from Christmas holiday.
Jessica Falkholt played the role of Hope Morrison in the TV series Home and Away, and also stars in the title role of the film Harmony, to be released this year.
A relative of the Falkholt family told Daily Mail Australia they had made it a priority for the constant support Jessica has received since the accident to continue during the time of the funeral. She then filmed a role in the United States film Harmony, which is set for release this year.
