If You Wanted New Justin Timberlake'Filthy Will Leave You Disappointed

Justin Timberlake embodies Steve Jobs in new video

Filthy by Justin Timberlake on VEVO.

The concept of the video is pretty easy to grasp too, with JT playing a Steve Jobs-like figure impressing a robotics conference a decade from now with a robot that does his moves. "Filthy", which is co-written and co-produced by JT, Timbaland, and Danja, dropped today, January 5, and we're already obsessed.

Justin Timberlake released the first single from his upcoming fifth studio album Man of the Woods Friday titled "Filthy" along with an accompanying music video.

Justin Timberlake's new music video stars a dancing robot.

Borrowing some of Timberlake's signature nu-disco magic, "Filthy" presents a futuristic dance tune with heavy, warbly techno beats at center stage. "Haters gon' say it's fake.so real", Justin says on the chorus.

So this wasn't what we were expecting.

Timberlake's highly-anticipated Woods will arrive almost five years since his last album, The 20/20 Experience. Man of the Woods will drop on February 2.

He'll be releasing three more videos in the run up to his album release.

J.T. will perform his new music at the Super Bowl LII Halftime Show in Minneapolis on February 4, two days after the release of MOTW. Well, if you exclude his schmaltzy score for The Book of Love, and Can't Stop the Feeling!
