As the smartphone is nearly stable in the beta version of the Oreo update, Xiaomi is expected to soon launch the stable version of the operating system.

LG Electronics confirms the roll out of the latest software version, aka Android Oreo to its recently launched LG V30.

The update is now only available in LG's home country, although it is expected to make its way to the U.S. and other markets soon-starting in January.

There's no word on when Oreo for the V30 will be released in other countries. Well with the arrival of Oreo, LG V30 and V30 Plus users will experience new features, improved usability, boosted battery life and enhanced multitasking. The company said that they have taken into consideration all the opinions in order to provide more optimised services to V30 users. The LG Bridge app can be downloaded from LG's mobile download centre.

Xiaomi Mi A1, the Android One smartphone manufactured by Xiaomi has received the Android 8.0 Oreo beta update. Some of the notable new features of Oreo include Notification Dots, faster boot times, Picture in Picture, AutoFill, and Google Play Protect security scans. The smartphone sports a 6-inch QHD+ (1440x2880 pixels) OLED FullVision display with HDR10 support. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB which will expandable to 2TB via microSD card.

On the optics front, both the LG V30 and V30 Plus is equipped with dual real cameras.

As of the selfie camera, the smartphones make use of a 5MP wide-angle lens.
