Friday's Mega Millions drawing will have a top prize of $450 million and Powerball's Saturday jackpot is $570 million, 6ABC reported. The Powerball jackpot also surged, sitting at $550 million, with a $348 million cash option, after no victor Wednesday.
The Mega Millions and Powerball drawings precede Newswatch 16 at 11. The cut-off for sales is 9:58 p.m. Saturday for Powerball and 10:44 p.m. tonight for Mega Millions.
Last time someone won the Mega Millions jackpot was October 13 and the Powerball last saw a victor October 25.
What we now have is two Powerball lotteries.
"I play when it gets real high, say at least $200 million or so!" said retired doctor Fred Loeb of Kansas City.
Nobody hit the Powerball Jackpot Wednesday night, but there are still 3 million winning tickets out there.

Recent big Powerball wins in North Dakota include a $100,000 Powerball with Power Play purchased from a Superpumper in Minot on December 30. The biggest Mega Millions jackpot was in 2012, when three winners split $656 million.
