Honestly, it's impressive that he landed some of these guests, especially the former President of the United States.

David Letterman is returning to late night-and he's bringing some big names with him.

Netflix has provided its first glimpse at David Letterman's forthcoming talk show titled My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.

The first episode of Letterman's new show will be Obama's first televised talk-show interview since leaving the presidency in 2017. Future guests will include George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, Jay Z, Tina Fey, and Howard Stern.

David Letterman's talk show deal with Netflix was revealed in August of previous year. The series debuts on January 12 with a new episode every month in 2018. The six-episode show features Letterman extensively interviewing one person inside and outside of a studio setting.

Obama has laid low since leaving the White House past year with the exception of a few public appearances and a radio interview with Britain's Prince Harry recorded in September and broadcast last month. Late-night legend David Letterman, however, is going about it a little differently. The series is produced by RadicalMedia and WorldWide Pants Incorporated. Per Netflix, the host will also explore various topics on his own and feature in-the-field segments that express his curiosity and humor.
