Cleveland scored 43 points in the first quarter Tuesday and led by as many as 21 points before completely falling apart in the second half, being outscored 41-22 in the third and 24-9 in the fourth.

With LeBron James on your roster, anything but a return to the National Basketball Association finals is a failure, but the Cavaliers team is a mess in nearly every possible way. James now joins only Michael Jordan and Kevin Garnett as the only players to have the most points, rebounds and assists in a franchise's history.

The NBA moved up the start of the regular season this season, building more space so back-to-backs could be reduced and stretches of four games in five nights could be eliminated. "When adversity hits, we go our separate ways", Thomas said after Cleveland blew a 21-point lead.

The Celtics knew Thomas was a defensive liability but were able to cover up for him. It is too easy to simply say, "He's really not 100 percent yet", as Coach Tyronn Lue said in his pregame news conference.

"We just need to finish out before we get to the All-Star Game and then make a run for it and then we'll see".

Bazemore is averaging 13.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game this season.

ESPN reported the Cavs have talked about shipping Thomas, the Nets' first-round pick and $25 million to Charlotte for Kemba Walker and Nicolas Batum. They have LeBron. I think there's great danger anytime you play a team he's on.

Losing to the Magic, who holds the East's second-worst record and were playing on a back to back without its leading scorer (Aaron Gordon) was bad, but things could get worse against the T-Wolves tonight. We bring a lot of energy to the game. But James has stated he will not waive his no trade clause, so let's assume Cleveland is a buyer.

He had played just 17 minutes total in the Cavs' previous 10 games coming into Wednesday.

They're just not getting enough out of it. The deadline previously was at the end of the break, and it sure looks like the Cavs wouldn't want to wait that long this season. "And that's been one of our biggest problems all year, is adjusting".

Asked if his team will participate, he said, "We'll see".

The Orlando Magic are not a very good team this year. "Stay positive, keep pushing. If we're still serious about this season, we have to play some good ball at some point".

This is a big test for Cleveland, especially because it will be another nationally televised game.
