"Omarosa was sacked three times on the "Apprentice" and this was the fourth time we let her go", Shah said.

Back at her reality roots on "Big Brother: Celebrity Edition", the 44-year-old was quick to wax poetic when asked about being Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison.

Manigault Newman's appearance was mocked by everyone from Anderson Cooper to Alisyn Camerota to Don Lemon.

Shah also downplayed her comments.

Omarosa Manigault is out of the "Celebrity Big Brother" house - for now - after being hospitalized for an injury.

The challenge was "dizzy spinny bowling", and Marissa Jaret Winokur apparently beat Omarosa and perhaps accidentally hit her. Marissa said, "I put her in the hospital".

"I need you to say no, it's going to be okay", Mathews said.

Manigault Newman continued, "It's not my circus".

"Omarosa was sacked three times on the apprentice and this was the fourth time we let her go", said Raj Shah, a White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary and Deputy Assistant to the President.

Manigault Newman disputed those reports during an appearance on Good Morning America just a day later, arguing that she resigned her post and wasn't fired. "The one thing I learned from politics is you have to watch your back, and sometimes you have to watch your front, too".

"No, it's gonna not be OK", she said.

The White House has since taken their own shots at the former staffer.

"She had limited contact with the president while here". That has affected my community and my people.

"On Twitter, the White House automatically archives "tweets" from official White House accounts, and may capture "mentions" the White House claims.
