According to a report by PhoneArena, this smartphone is said to be launched across the global markets but under different names such as Samsung Galaxy J3 Express Prime, Galaxy Amp Prime 3, Galaxy J3 Emerge and Galaxy J3 Prime 2 for carriers such as AT&T, Cricket, Sprint and T-Mobile in the US.

Additionally, Android Headlines discovered a Samsung branded device on Geekbench sporting a model number of "SM-J737P". The phone is the new recent model of Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime.
