Another one to two inches will be possible through 10PM Saturday evening. Breezy. Rain may be heavy at times and some storms may become severe. The rain will become more widespread through Wednesday morning and afternoon, with a rumbles of thunder around too. On the low end we could see some central Alabama locations like Alexander City and Clanton with highs near 60.
Under a partly cloudy sky, temperatures gradually cool through the 60s this evening. High: Low-mid 50s.
Another wave of heavy rain is likely for your Monday morning commute. Rain coverage will be greatest Monday and a few showers could be on the heavy-side.
Sunday begins with some areas of fog and low clouds.
A warm front will lift north through the state Tuesday night into Wednesday, followed by a cold front that will sweep through late Thursday. We will have to monitor the evolution closely, but current guidance is suggesting rain (right now. that could change!).
The main storm center is located over northern IN, however a secondary area of low pressure is trying to develop over northwestern Virginia then tracking to our north and east by Thursday night into Friday.
