The district and sessions court in Jodhpur heard arguments on the suspension of sentence and bail application before deferring the matter until tomorrow.

Salman was convicted in the blackbuck poaching case by a Jodhpur Court on Thursday. Other accused stars in the case-Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre have been acquitted of all charges. Moreover few months after his enormously successful action movie "Tiger Zinda Hai", Salman is now all set to impress with Race 3.

Now once you know that Salman Khan is going to be part of a film, you just know what to expect. The Tiger Zinda Hai actor was sentenced to five years in jail and will be lodged in Jodhpur Central Jail.

"Whatever is left of "Race 3" will have to be completed soon because the film is releasing in June".

Produced by his brother Arbaaz Khan, "Dabangg 3" is being directed by Prabhudheva, with Arbaaz and Sonakshi Sinha, besides Salman, in the main roles.

Through Loveratri, Salman is planning to launch his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.

"As of now, he is shooting for "Race 3" being directed by Remo D'Souza". It was partly shot in Abu Dhabi recently. Kick 2, Dabangg 3 and Bharat were yet to start so there isn't much monetary loss.

And now a report in Bombay Times stated that a total of Rs 400 crore is at stake which were riding on him.

Trade analyst Atul Mohan told IANS: "Salman's "Race 3′, which is 90 percent done with its shooting will get affected badly if things go wrong". He has also been signed to host a TV game show Dus Ka Dum.

"If the verdict goes against him, as a film industry we might lose around Rs 500 crore every year in his absence because his movies do earn that amount of money". Whatever the setback, I think it will be temporary. Race 3 (120 Cr), Bharat (Rs 210 Cr), Kick 2 (Rs 200 Cr), Dabangg 3 (Rs 110 Cr), No Entry Mein Entry (Rs 50 Cr), Partner 2 (Rs 60 Cr), Sher Khan (Rs 65 Cr) and his home production Loveratri (Rs 22 to 150 Cr) are the projects that will get a serious jolt if Salman fails to get bail at the earliest. It is expected to release on Eid 2019.
